A mix of British native wildflowers that are ideal for shadier areas of your garden and balcony. While these will struggle in total shade (as would all flowers!), this mix is designed for spots which receive only dappled sun or sun for just one part of the day (although will grow equally well in areas of full sun). Each ball contains approximately 30 seeds from a mixture of Bellflower, Forget-me-not, Meadow buttercup, Meadowsweet, Oxeye daisy, Ragged robin and Red campion.
A Seedball made from seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chili powder. The ball prevents the seeds from being a tasty lunch for birds and insects, thereby increasing the chances of your flowers growing. Plus they’re super easy to use, no digging and no expert knowledge needed!
Each tin of Shade Mix contains 20 seed balls, enough to cover 1 metre square in a garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.
Seedball Shade Mix:
Bellflower
Forget-me-not
Meadow buttercup
Meadowsweet

Sowing:
Ideally sow in Spring and Autumn. Scatter the Seedballs onto well-raked soil. Sprouts seen within 2-6 weeks, although regular watering will speed up the process.
Maintenance:
Wildflowers can be treated as normal bedding plants but are hardier.
